The US is 91st in the world in national legislature gender equality.
Sadly, another report out that confirms what we have seen historically, but it’s good to see an update from Professors Lawless and Fox on the state of gender equality in US politics. The report makes some important points on why the gender gap exists, and thus suggests ways to eliminate that gap.
One of many things we can all do: suggest to a woman the she should run for public office. Brings home how important the work of organizations like Women’s Information Network (WIN), among many others (via Henri Makembe).
